Russ
Swanay
A
native of Elizabethton, Tennessee, Russ Swanay
began his real estate career upon graduation from
East Tennessee State University in 1972. Working
as an Affiliate Real Estate Broker for a local
agency for approximately two and one half years,
Russ founded Russ Swanay Real Estate Company in
1974. At that time, Russ was one of the youngest
Broker/Owners of a real estate company in the
State of Tennessee. Russ began his career as a licesed Realtor in the Elizabethton area in 1972.
In
1990, after several years of course study and
training, Russ earned his designation (SRA) with
the Appraisal Institute as a Senior Residential
Real Estate Appraiser. This training has proved
invaluable in the pricing or property and has
enhanced the productivity of Russ Swanay Real
Estate over the past decade.
A
founding member and past President of the Elizabethton
Board of Realtors, Russ became a member of the
Tennessee/Virginia Regional Board of Realtors
shortly after it's formation, and has earned the
Million Dollar Producer Award every year since
his membership began. In recent years, Russ has
consistently been a multi-million dollar producer
within his particular market area.

his Company the reputation it has among lenders,
professionals, clients and his peers. |

Donna
Swanay
An
East Tennessee native, Donna Swanay is happy to
call this area home. An Elizabethton resident
since 1997, she and her husband, Bobby Swanay,
bought their first house with help from Russ Swanay.
After staying home for a while to tend to their
daughter Susan, she started her exciting career
in the family business as a Realtor. A graduate
of East Tennessee State University, she is currently
working as a Real Estate Appraiser and
Agent. Donna has been awarded the sales achievement award from the Northeast Tennessee Association of Realtors years 2001 through 2005. In 2005, she earned her Brokers Licenses.
With an extensive background in sales and customer
service, Donna is a valuable asset to the Real
Estate community.

Matt Zimmerman
Russ Swanay is proud to announce the addition of Matt Zimmerman to the staff of Russ Swanay Real Estate Company, as a Associate Real Estate Broker. Matt joins the firm at a time of expanding business for the 35 year old firm. A carter County native, Matt believes that there is no other place than Elizabethton he would choose to call home. A 1992 Graduate of Unaka High School and a married father of two young boys, Matt chooses to raise his children in the same tight nit community in which he grew up. With a background in construction and a recent graduate of D & D School of Real Estate, Matt has decided to make the exciting and rewarding world of real estate his profession. Dean Blevins, GRI
A Carter County native, Dean Blevins is a graduate of East Tennessee State University. He
concluded a military career in 1980, becoming a licensed realtor in that same year. In 1986,
Dean obtained a Real Estate Brokers licence and, in the same year, completed all requirements as
a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute earning the GRI designation.
Active in community service, Dean has been a member of the Elizabethton Civitan Club since
1981 and oversees a Flag Service for 130 local businesses displaying an American Flag on
holidays. This service generates funds in support of handicapped children and special education
classrooms.
Dean Blevins brings to the firm knowledge, experience and an outstanding reputation within the
community.
Dean resides in Elizabethton with his wife, Carol Blevins.
